A Message From the Fire Chief
Welcome to the Albany Volunteer Fire Department website. It is an honor to serve as Fire Chief and to work alongside the dedicated men and women of this department who are committed to protecting our neighbors and our community. Our department is proud to serve the residents of Albany and the surrounding area. As volunteers, we answer the call whenever we are needed—often at a moment’s notice—and we do so with a strong sense of duty, teamwork, and pride.
Fire safety is a responsibility we all share. We encourage everyone in our community to take the necessary steps to protect their families, homes, and businesses, and to never hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns about fire safety. Thank you for your continued support of the Albany Volunteer Fire Department. We are grateful for the trust our community places in us, and we will continue working hard to be there when you need us most. We will be a “Commitment to our Community”!
Stay safe,
Joe Foster
